A New Approach to College Admissions for all michigan students
What is it?
Michigan high school seniors can now receive direct admission offers from participating Michigan colleges and universities through the Match platform — no application required! As part of the statewide College Bound Michigan campaign, this initiative connects students to real college offers at no cost to the students or schools.
Instead of hoping students apply, colleges proactively offer admission to students based on academic record and program fit, helping more students see themselves as college-bound.

Timeline
Aug. 26: Student Profiles Open
Students can create profiles at any time, starting on Aug. 26, 2026.
Sept. 21: First Profile Deadline
Submit your completed Match profile by Sept. 21* to be included in the first offer release — and for a chance to receive a $5,000 scholarship.
Oct. 5: First College Direct Admission Offer Release
Log in beginning Oct. 5 to explore personalized offers from participating colleges.
Ongoing: Monitor Offers
Review incoming admission offers and respond "interested" or "not interested" by the offer's expiration date.
Students who complete and submit their profiles by Sept. 21 will be entered for a chance to receive a $5,000 scholarship award through the program. Don’t miss this opportunity to explore your college options and potentially earn additional support for your education!
* Students can still create a profile after Sept. 21, and institutions will send admission offers on a regular basis.
